California hotels, then Disneyland, Universal Studios, Santa Monica and the
San Diego Zoo are all in close proximity. This is true, compared to the
distance each of them is from San Francisco, New York or Tokyo. But really,
it's not exactly convenient to get to Disneyland from a Santa Monica hotel
during rush hour or from a Disneyland hotel to Hollywood. In Los Angeles, if
the distance between two attractions is over 30 minutes in non-rush hour
driving, I recommend switching hotels to wake up close to what you want to do
in the morning, because really, wasting 2 to 4 hours a day in traffic on your
vacation sucks. Whichever area you visit, there are multiple attractions to
