gift? For museum lovers, membership in a local museum can can come with free
admission to museums across the country. Through a program called North
American Reciprocal Museums (NARM), if you contribute to one member museum,
you receive free or reduced admission and museum store discounts at all
member museums in the United States and Canada. So, if you're a contributing
member of the Cincinnati Art Museum, The Holocaust Memorial Museum in San
Antonio, the American Folk Art Museum in New York or the Textile Museum of
Canada in Toronto, you could get in free to 18 Los Angeles and Orange County
museums. And if you support any of those 18 Southern California museums, you
get the same benefit at over 400 museums in the US and Canada. In some areas,
the reciprocal relationship is not valid for museums local to the member
museums. The Southern California museums do not appear to have this
restriction, so members of the *Museum of Latin American Art* can get in to
the *Bowers Museum* or the *Skirball Center* and vice versa, but special
