of the delicacy when a California ban goes into effect in July 2012, which
will be very good news for geese and ducks. The ban isn't in effect yet,
though, so if your conscience allows, you still have a chance to gorge on
engorged goose and duck livers. In conjunction with dineLA Restaurant Week,
Executive Chef Giselle Wellman at Petrossian Boutique Cafe in West Hollywood
has put together a prix fixe menu with a fois gras option in every course,
including Fois Gras Ravioli; Prime Flatiron Steak Foie Gras, Leeks, Mushroom
Duxelles, Truffle, Beef Jus and foie gras ice cream for dessert. The
three-course menu is $44 plus tax and tip. For an extra $59, you can add 30g
